Student Pilot License (SPL)
Chennai Flight School & Aviation College is an established flying school in India that offers a one-month beginner’s course in flying. A student who has completed his or her tenth board exam and is over the age of 16 is eligible to enroll in this course. Summer vacation is the perfect time to complete this course so that students don’t have to disrupt their academic routine. Students are eligible to take the Student Pilot License (SPL) examination once they have successfully completed the course.
Its aim is to introduce students to the possibility of a flying career during their school years. The license is valid for 5 years and can be upgraded to a Private Pilot License (PPL) during the 11th and 12th Standard vacations, which means that by the time a student completes their 12th standard Board Exams, they will have completed one-third of the Commercial Pilot License (CPL) course.
There are several benefits to enrolling in the SPL program.
First of all, unlike most students who begin the flying course after their 12th examinations and require two years to complete it, it enables students to earn their CPL within a year of passing their 12th grade.
Second, the SPL program gives students the chance to investigate a wide range of career options in aviation at a very young age. This aids students in determining whether they want to pursue a career in aviation. If not, students can continue to pursue other possibilities throughout their academic years in high school and college.
Students will be trained in fundamental aviation skills throughout the program.
SPL program fees are structured to be affordable, so more students can benefit.
